Congratulations are in order! Vanderpump Rules star Jax Taylor and his wife and costar, Brittany Cartwright, are pregnant with baby No. 1, she revealed on Instagram on Monday, September 21.

“Mom & Dad. The love of our lives is coming soon. 🥰💝,” she wrote. Their little one is expecting in April 2021, and Brittany is 11 weeks along.

“We had been trying for around five months and we just can’t wait to grow our family,” the couple told People. “I had the ovulation sticks and all the apps … we were ready to go! I woke up super early to go to the restroom and just had a feeling I should take a test and it was positive!! I cried, I laughed, we were just so happy!! Then I took three more tests and cried some more.”

Jax and Brittany started dating in May 2015 after meeting one another in Las Vegas. The beginning of their courtship was heavily featured on the hit Bravo reality series, beginning in season 4. At first, Jax seemed to want to keep things casual between them, despite the Kentucky native opting to move to Los Angeles to be with him.

Things got more serious during season 5, which lead to Britt becoming a full-time cast member on the series. Season 6 uncovered the pair’s fair share of problems, though. It was revealed SURver Faith Stowers had an affair with Jax, which lead to a pregnancy scare. Eventually, the Michigan native owned up to his infidelity — and Faith’s pregnancy scare was just that, a scare.

The reality royalty couple were able to work through their issues and come out on the other side. They got engaged in June 2018 during the premiere of season 7. Planning their nuptials was a huge focal point of their storyline — and it didn’t disappoint.

The happy couple wed at a stunning Kentucky castle amid all their closest family, friends and Pump Rules costars in June 2019, which aired during season 8 of the show.

Their connection is still as strong as ever — and Jax exclusively told Life & Style how they keep the spark alive. “Oh my gosh. We do a lot of date nights. We probably have three date nights a week,” he exclusively gushed in September 2019. “I mean, we’ve been dating, what, four years?”

The twosome has their preferences when it comes to loved-up hangouts, but as long as they’re together, they’re good. “We have a good date night three days a week, and it’s usually … A lot of the times we stay home and watch movies, or we’ll go see a movie,” he explained their ideal date nights. “It always revolves around some sort of Netflix special that’s coming out at that point or things that we have to catch up on.”

Congratulations to the parents-to-be!
