Parents Night Out! Bradley Cooper Brings Irina Shayk as His Date to the 2019 Oscars
It’s an important night for Bradley Cooper, as his movie A Star Is Born is up for eight nominations including Best Actor, Best Original Song, Best Picture and more. So, is his girlfriend, Irina Shayk, by his side? It looks like it’s date night for the A-list couple!
The handsome hunk, 44, brought his baby mama — the two share daughter Lea — to a slew of awards show this year, but it’s rare that the couple make a public appearance together.
The model, 33, recently revealed why she doesn’t love to flaunt her relationship. “I have a lot of friends who share a lot of their personal life on Instagram or social media, very publicly,” she told Glamour U.K. for her February cover interview. “I admire it and I think it’s great — but I think it’s all about personal choice.”
Even though the brunette beauty is a public figure, she prefers to keep mum about her home life. “Because my work requires me to be out there, I just decided my personal life will be quiet,” she said. “That’s why it’s called personal, because it’s something for you and your family, and I feel happy with it.”
The Hangover alum didn’t receive an Oscar nomination for Best Director of A Star Is Born, but it doesn’t mean that the acclaimed film won’t win in other sections. When Bradley first heard the news, he was, well, surprised.
“I went, ‘Oh wow,’ and the first thing I felt was embarrassment, actually felt embarrassed that I didn’t do my part,” he admitted. “I was with my friend. I was in New York City at a coffee shop and I looked down at my phone and Nicole [his publicist] had texted me and they said congratulations on these other things, but they didn’t tell me the bad news.”
One person that will be cheering for him — no matter if he wins or loses — is his BFF and costar Lady Gaga, 32. When the “Born This Way” crooner won a Grammy award for the hit song “Shallow,” she couldn’t help but gush about Bradley.
“I know he wants to be here,” she said in her speech on February 10. “Bradley, I loved singing this song with you. If I don’t get a chance to say this, I just want to say, I’m so proud to be a part of a movie that addresses mental health issues. That’s so important.”
We hope that Bradley has something to celebrate, especially with his love!
