Reunited? Brad Pitt’s kids are “open” to spending the holidays with their famous father, a source told In Touch exclusively. “Brad might get some of the kids for the holidays after all. He was afraid that [his ex-wife] Angelina [Jolie] would stay overseas, but it looks like he may get his wish — spending Thanksgiving with his family.”

The 55-year-old actor — who shares Maddox, 18, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 13, and twins Vivienne and Knox, both 11, with Angie — seems to be in a better place following his divorce from the actress, 44. “Brad’s had a couple of very lonely holidays since splitting with Angie,” the insider noted. “But now that he’s gotten his life back together, he’s clean and sober, his career is on fire and he’s happy. He’s looking forward to some normal family gatherings.”

While the plans aren’t official just yet, the Oklahoma native is already looking forward to hanging out with his brood. “Brad’s already organizing a traditional dinner — the turkey, stuffing, gravy and all the fixings,” the source explained.

In August, the Maleficent star dropped off her oldest son at college in Asia, but Brad was noticeably missing from the trip. In a video exclusively obtained by In Touch, a cameraman asked Maddox if his dad would be visiting him abroad at some point in the future. “Um, I don’t know about that … what’s happening,” he said. “Whatever happens, happens.”

Clearly, Brad and Maddox haven’t been on the best of terms lately — the two got into an alleged altercation on a private plane in 2016 and ever since then, their relationship has been rocky — but the father of six is optimistic that things could change. “This could be a huge breakthrough for Brad’s ongoing relationship with his children and Angie,” the insider shared. “He’s closest to the four youngest, but he’s hoping that a Thanksgiving get-together with them might bridge the gap that he has with Pax and especially Maddox.”

At the end of the day, the Ad Astra star wants more time with his children. “Brad basically wants to get to a place where he can incorporate the kids into his everyday life,” In Touch previously reported. “And obviously that means getting along better with Angie, that’s the goal. He’s just hoping this holiday season with the kids is the beginning of reaching that goal. Brad just wants to be their dad.”

Wouldn’t it be great to see Brad with his kids? We definitely think so!
