One day at a time. Beth Chapman opened up about her ongoing cancer battle in a heartfelt message and revealed how she manages to look at the bright side, even when she’s going through it. While taking to Twitter, the Dog’s Most Wanted star shared a word of encouragement with a fan.

When one of Beth’s followers asked how she stays so positive, the WGN America alum, 51, said it’s not always easy. “It [tries] but I rebuke that. I ask God to bind that spirit and keep those thoughts from my head I’m no different I have good days and bad,” she responded. Beth also added inspirational hashtags, including the phrases “warrior women,” and “cancer will not beat me.”

Beth has continued to prove that she refuses to be a victim of her circumstances. On June 11, she posted a glowing photo of herself looking happy and healthy while at work, showing her seated behind her desk at Da Kine Bail Bonds located in Honolulu, Hawaii. “Get up, dress up, show up,” Beth captioned the photo with one of her motivational phrases featured in the background. “With every setback is the opportunity for an amazing comeback,” the sign on the wall read.

As we previously reported, Beth found out her cancer returned in November 2018 and she’s been doing her best to stay strong. The star recently shared a photo of her husband, Duane “Dog” Chapman, 66, sleeping and expressed how her diagnosis has also taken a major toll on him.

“When he finally does sleep you can still see the worry and stress on his face,” she wrote. “He has been by my side non stop since this happened strong and encouraging me every day! There is no doubt we’re my strength comes from. Being with him is the most important thing to me. Ours is one of the greatest love story’s never told,” Beth concluded. “It’s a love worth fighting for!”
