Adam Lind Charged With Four Counts of Domestic Assault (REPORT)
This is devastating. It’s been a little over a month since Teen Mom 2 star Adam Lind was arrested for domestic assault, but new details from court docs obtained by Radar Online reveal the horrifying circumstances behind the incident. According to the files, Chelsea Houska’s baby daddy was charged with four counts of domestic assault against his ex-girlfriend.
“He did attempt to cause bodily injury to another and had the actual ability to cause the injury,” the papers from the Lincoln County Court allegedly read, explaining the first count. The second count claims Adam “did recklessly cause bodily injury to another.” Another count charges him with “attempting by physical menace or credible threat to put another in fear of imminent bodily harm, with or without the actual ability to harm the other person.” And finally, he was reportedly charged with “intentionally causing bodily harm to another, which did not result in serious bodily injury.” It was alleged that Adam’s bail was dropped in exchange for his cooperation in showing up to a court hearing. A jury trial is supposedly set for Jan. 18.
Adam has a history of rocky relationships with his exes. Former fiancée Stasia Huber even filed a restraining order against him following their three-year relationship. She alleged that Adam was abusive to her throughout. “While under the influence of drugs, alcohol, and steroids, he fractured my forearm, locked me in the house saying I couldn’t leave, smashed my phone and once he realized what he had done, he broke down crying and took me to the ER,” she said. “We broke up for a while after that.” She was granted a five-year protection order.
Most recently, ex and baby mama Chelsea took him to court to revise the visitation agreement they have with their eight-year-old daughter Aubree. After Adam reportedly tested positive for meth, Chels “wants to cut back on Aubree going to Adam’s parent’s house. She wants more of a regular grandparent visitation, not a visitation like the other parent where she has to go every other weekend. Maybe just once a month,” a source told Radar Online.
His struggles have been showcased on TM2 and the source revealed that Adam is “hardly ever there” for his daughter. We’re just glad, from the looks of social media, that Chelsea and her husband Cole DeBoer are giving little Aubs some stability. We hope Adam gets his act together soon.
