Angela Hints About Fertility Struggles to Michael’s Mom at Engagement Party in ’90DF’ Sneak Peek
What will the future hold? Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi are surrounded by friends and family while celebrating their engagement on the upcoming episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. In a new sneak peek clip shared on October 18, it looks like Angela is preparing to talk about her fertility struggles with Michael’s mother.
In the beginning of the video shared by E! News,it shows Michael’s loved ones having a blast at the traditional African bash. Michael, 31, is clad in a white and blue garment while making his grand entrance as the groom. Not long after, the bride, Angela, is welcomed in and she made sure to bust a move. Even though it was a joyous occasion, Angela admitted that she did have some concerns.
“I’m enjoying myself at the party, but I’m scared to tell mama about the fertility clinic and having a baby for Michael,” Angela, 53, says. “I’m like so nervous.”
Soon after, Angela and Michael sit down with his mother for a heart-to-heart conversation and he translates on behalf of his future wife. “Mama, I thank you for the bottom of my heart for doing all this. Tell her, I feel like her daughter already,” Angela begins. “So mama, we have news to tell you,” the TLC alum continues.
“I got to thinking about the family you want so much for Michael that the other day, we went to a fertility clinic,” Angela says. Michael reveals that his mother was “happy” to hear this. “She don’t know the news yet,” Angela adds, before deciding if she should be the one to share it.
As fans may recall, Angela and Michael previously found out that she has only one egg left in her reproductive system and it’s unknown if she’ll be able to carry a child. On top of that, it looks like IVF (in vitro fertilization) also might not be an option for the couple, because Angela’s daughter wasn’t keen on the idea of donating them an egg to use.
Angela and Michael have gone through several hardships (and a rumored breakup) over the course of their relationship, but it appears they’re committed to making it work!
Fans will have to wait to find out his mom’s reaction on the next episode.
