Kalani and her hubby, Asuelu, were overjoyed to welcome their second child on May 7. She took to Instagram with a heartwarming announcement.

“Our baby was worth the constractions 😝,” Kalani wrote in her caption, poking fun at the way Asuelu pronounced the word “contractions” in her labor video.

Labor Experience

In the vlog, the happy couple shared more details about Kennedy’s birth. “He’s finally here! I labored at home from 11 PM (5-6-19) to 6:30 AM. We arrived at the hospital at 6:40 AM (5-7-19) and he was born at 9:11 AM,” the description read. What a trooper!

“Thank you to the supportive and sweet staff who helped me through another medicine free birth,” the new mama continued.

Kalani also revealed that her bundle of joy was eight pounds and 15 ounces, and 21 inches long.

On May 9, Kalani posted the first close-up photo of her son. “Kennedy with the good hair 🐝🖤,” she wrote. And it didn’t take long for fans to sound off!

Kalani recently gushed about how grateful she was that everything went smoothly in the delivery room. “I’m so thankful that everything went well and that I’m now able to hold my new son,” she told E! News.

“It’s been heartwarming watching Oliver with him. They both cry if the other cries — Oliver will even run to find Kennedy’s pacifier to put it in his mouth,” she added.

Asuelu was also one proud papa and hubby. “I am happy I could see this baby born. My wife did amazing, fantastic job. I love to be a dad,” he said.

Getting Serious

The lovebirds got married back in September 2018, during season 6 of the show. As fans may recall, Kalani gave birth to their first child in January 2018.

In January 2019, Kalani shared the news about her second bundle of joy with her Instagram followers. “We’re having another boy! I’m now 24 weeks and due at the end of April,” she wrote. “Anyone else think they look like twins.”
