The constant criticism isn’t always easy to brush off. Danielle Jbali opened up about her life in the spotlight, revealing how she’s dealing with the trolls and relentless bullying. The 90 Day Fiancé star said the cruel comments do sometimes get under her skin, but she tries to stay positive.

“The bullying never stops and is hurtful…but you have to keep going,” Danielle told SoapDirt. Another former cast member and friend of Danielle, Beth Mahar, also revealed how the reality star copes with the negativity. “I think the biggest misconception that people have about Danielle is that she is always laughing about situations and not taking things seriously,” Beth said.

“The truth is Danielle does grasp the gravity of her situations and the laughing or always smiling that people see her doing is because of nervousness or stress over a situation, not because she doesn’t understand how serious a situation is,” Beth added. “I really want people to see Danielle has a kind and gentle, generous heart. She’s a single mom who works her tail off to provide for her children. She is almost two years on her Bachelor’s degree in nursing (not an easy task).”

Beth explained that Danielle is a good person and like many of us, the reality star is just hoping to find someone who loves her unconditionally. “She is a perfect example of a typical single, blue-collar American woman looking for something better from life,” Beth concluded. Just a few days ago, Danielle revealed how she’s struggling to get ahead while opening up about her financial woes on Facebook. In return, the TLC star was flooded with messages saying she was looking for handouts, when Danielle addressed how she was only asking for “prayers.”

Danielle received even more angry messages after fans discovered a GoFundMe page made for her. The reality star later clarified that a friend started it up to help her, after learning that Danielle fell behind on her lot rent. “The mobile home park took me to court and I came up with the money, but it is the matter of them accepting it or not. If they don’t accept it, I will have to leave the home I own and find a way to move my trailer out of the park,” Danielle revealed in another post.

Fans have been shading the reality star for blowing through her 90 Day Fiancé money, but Danielle explained why she’s strapped for cash during a recent interview. “I bought my trailer with cash. I had to pay a lawyer to do the divorce,” she said while chatting with blogger John Yates. “My trailer is used and it’s a fixer-upper. I had to put money into it before moving into it. I put a down payment on a car. We don’t make tons of money from TLC on this show. I don’t know what people are talking about. I bought things that I needed and did things I needed.”
