’90 Day Fiancé’ Star Paul Staehle Might Be Back in the United States — With Karine!
Wait a minute — are 90 Day Fiancé stars Paul Staehle and Karine Martins already back in the United States? That’s certainly what it seems like based on Paul’s latest Instagram posts — and Paul may have also dropped a subtle hint that Karine might really be pregnant with the couple’s first child.
Paul has been sharing tons of hints by the photos he’s sharing within the last day or so. First, he shared a photo of Karine with a Whole Foods shopping bag and a container of fresh fruit. The second photo featured a half-eaten slice of rainbow cake from the famed Carlo’s Bakery, owned by Karine and Paul’s fellow TLC star Buddy Valastro.
“Karine is enjoying her Cake Boss cake. Best cake I have ever tasted in my life,” Paul wrote in the caption. He followed it up with a photo of Karine posing with cereal, crackers, and potato chips in a Kroger shopping bag, which is a grocery store chain with locations in the Midwest and Southern United States. “Enjoying some American grocery store items,” he captioned the shot.
Unless Paul and Karine had their goodies shipping all the way to Brazil, it seems like it’s safe to say that they’re either visiting or they’ve made the move permanently to America. But many fans also felt that Paul was not only hinting that they were not in Brazil anymore, but that they’re expecting because all of the packages of snacks were “family size.”
“Pregnancy cravings,” one fan commented, and another wrote, “Family size? Good way to announce your [sic] pregnant [if] you are.”
Last month, Paul seemed to confirm that Karine was pregnant by posting a photo of Karine cradling what seemed to be a baby bump. Even though Paul quickly deleted it, a 90 Day Fiancé fan account captured a screenshot and shared it on Instagram.
But it seems like fans will just have to wait until Paul and Karine return to TV for Season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, which is set to premiere later this week. In a teaser clip, it looks like Paul and Karine will address their baby news and his criminal past.
When cameras caught up with Paul, he had been in the United States for about four months after traveling to Brazil to meet Karine for the first time in person — and as fans will remember, he popped the question at the end of his trip. But he was already planning another trip to visit Karine and this time they were going to make things official.
“I’m really a lot more nervous this time around ‘cause me and Karine have decided to go and get married in Brazil — but there’s one big issue that might stand in the way,” Paul said in his confessional. “Karine’s parents were very alarmed when they found out about my criminal record so they requested for me to bring my entire criminal record to Brazil so they can review it.”
Paul also said that he needed to get to the bottom of his trust issues with Karine, because he thought Karine was flirting and talking to other men on social media. He said that he needed concrete proof that Karine has not cheated on him, so he had her take another pregnancy test — and the results are not what fans will be expecting. “A baby? Not my baby?” Paul asked Karine.
