’90 Day Fiance’ Star Molly Throws Subtle Shade At Her Ex Luis In Her NYE Message!
She’s saying “thank u, next” to 2018! 90 Day Fiancé star Molly Hopkins had one heck of a year after finalizing her divorce from her ex-husband Luis Mendez back in May. It didn’t help that Luis moved on fairly quickly and got remarried just five months later — and while most women would feel some type of way about it, Molly used it as her motivation. She focused her energy on raising her daughters, growing her business, and sculpting her impressive revenge body through weight loss. Now, Molly shared a hopeful message for 2019, and she even threw a little bit of shade at her ex-husband in the process.
“2019 I’m ready, but before you get here just know I am not marrying any fool with an agenda other than me or taking any s–t,” Molly, 43, wrote in a caption on Instagram. Fans were living for the shade at Luis with her “fool” comment, and they flooded her comments section to praise her. “Go girl!!! Oww owwwww!” one fan wrote, and another commented, “Yassss mama!”
Molly seems to be fully invested in working on herself and loving herself, and she opened up how she feels about dating again during an appearance on the 90 Day LIVE after show earlier this month.
“Um, honestly? It’s kinda funny because I…” Molly said before flashing a gorgeous diamond sparkler on her left ring finger. When the show host Michelle Collins asked if Molly is engaged, she played coy.
“Not exactly,” Molly said. “What happened was, my business partner — who is my best friend, who was with me when I met Luis — really thought that he was the one. And she was with me, she went through this whole thing with me, and she was just as upset as I was. And we’ve been in business for 12 years with LiviRae Lingerie, and she came to me one day and she said, ‘Molly, I got you a ring.'”
Molly went on to explain that she and her bestie so close that they are more like a married couple. “And she said, ‘Until someone comes along that’s gonna take care of you, and love you, and be about you, and be about this business, and love your kids the way I do, don’t take it off,'” Molly explained. “She’s like, ‘You don’t need a man. You don’t need someone. I just want someone that’s gonna love you the way that I do.’ It just really resonated with me, it’s true.” Amen, hunni!
