It seems like this new role would allow fans to see Darcey, 44, in be a completely different setting — and hopefully, one that’s a lot less drama than her stint on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. Darcey starred in both Seasons 1 and 2 with her former boyfriend Jesse, 25, and fans got to see all of the highs and lows of their relationship play out on TV. On Season 1, cameras followed Darcey as she traveled from her hometown in Middletown, CT to Amersterdam to meet Jesse in person for the first time.

Despite the fact that they clashed, Jesse eventually got down on one knee and presented Darcey with a promise ring before she had to return to the United States. They continued to date in a long distance relationship, but they ultimately could not work through their issues and they documented their nasty, emotional split on Season 2 of the show.

“I mean, I’ll always care for him but I just need to close it off to have complete closure and peace. I really wish that things went [differently]. Next time I’ll see the red flags,” Darcey said as she reflected on their relationship. “I took a major risk for love. I got into this relationship despite being 18 years apart and being from different cultures and countries. I really wanted to try something new and just feel love, but throughout all of the ups and downs, you learn and you grow from it. You can’t break my heart anymore Jesse. It’s done. Wish you the best. Ready to move forward. No more looking back.”
