’90 Day Fiancé’ Star Annie Makes A Hilarious Joke About Her Husband David Being Broke
Out of all of the 90 Day Fiancé stars, she’s probably one of the funniest! It’s been a while since fans got to catch up with Annie and her husband David Toborowsky ever since the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After Season 3 finale aired back in July. But Annie and David have been doing a great job of keeping fans updated on their lives post-filming, and Annie took to Instagram on Wednesday, Sept. 27, to poke fun at her and David’s storyline last season by telling a joke about how broke he is.
“David wanted to surprise me with a new sexy outfit. Too bad he could only afford part of it LOL. Happy Hump Day,” the 25-year-old wrote on Instagram. In the pic, Annie wore a blush pink dress that seemed to be too very short with a black moto jacket and black knee-high boots. Her hubby David, 50, commented with fire and heart eyes emojis and wrote, “I love you,” and Annie responded, “Some peoples [sic] thought I didn’t wear any pants?? Hahahahaha [sic].”
Annie and David documented their first months of marriage and even though the newlyweds were in love, they still struggled with trying to build a life together after returning to the United States from Annie’s home country of Thailand. Since David had been out of the job market in his home state of Kentucky for five years, it was difficult for him to find a job to support his wife and his family once he returned.
But even though fans think that David doesn’t have a job at all, he explained that he has been working side jobs in order to put food on the table at least. “I’m doing projects for people. So when you do projects, it’s not a long-term thing — it’s helping somebody with a fundraiser, I’m putting together a mailer — so you get paid for those things,” David said during an interview on Sirius XM’s The Jenny McCarthy Show earlier this month. “It’s not a tremendous amount of money, it’s not enough to say, ‘Okay, we can go out and buy a new car, we can go out and pay for an apartment.’ That would be what we want.”
