President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, made good on their inauguration night promise to get their daughters Malia and Sasha, a dog. On April 14, a 6-month-old Portuguese Water Dog, who was a gift from Sen. Ted Kennedy, finally arrived at its new home - the White House. The girls named the pup Bo. And they wasted no time before taking their new fuzzy friend for a walk around the White House lawn. It's not just the girls who are thrilled with the newest resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue: Obama thinks his new canine companion is "a good-looking dog." But they still haven't worked out where Bo will sleep and who will be responsible for walking and feeding him. We just hope Bo knows not to chew on any furniture in the Oval Office!
