Michelle Pooch Is Confident That She’ll Be the Breakout Star on ‘Love & Hip Hop: Miami’
She's the life of the party! VH1's reality TV franchise Love & Hip Hop is expanding with the premiere of Love & Hip Hop: Miami and the cast is definitely made up of some of Miami's industry elite. Joining the ranks of female hip-hop star Trina and rapper Trick Daddy is Michelle Pooch — a Miami socialite, businesswoman, and DJ. Who is Michelle Pooch's husband?
Even though it seems like they are not currently together, Michelle was or is still married to famed Miami club promoter Tommy Pooch and they were considered a power couple — they were once referred to them as "Miami’s ultimate party couple" in a 2012 Huffington Post article. On top of his work in the city's nightlife industry, Tommy also owns a pizzeria and he also works in the real estate business. It seems like his business skills rubbed off on Michelle and he taught her everything she knows.
Michelle is a businesswoman in her own right.
According to her Instagram bio, she is the founder of Get Nailed, a Miami-based nail salon.
She hoping to take her DJ career to the next level.
Michelle has performed at countless clubs and events around Miami, including the Ultra Music Fest. Most recently, she performed at Art Basel and she's confident that LHHMIA will help her become an even bigger star.
"#LHHMIA premiered last Monday, but tonight marks the start of #MichelleMondays," she wrote in a recent Instagram caption.
She's got her own crew on LHHMIA.
According to her VH1 bio, Michelle is super close to Shay Johnson and Liz Cifuentes. But her friendship with Liz will be put to the test later in the season when Michelle stirs up a rivalry with Liz's boyfriend Prince, who refers to himself and a South Beach "Lifestyle Ambassador."
