After Kanye West, 38, announced he is running for president in the 2020 election at the end of his Video Vanguard Award acceptance speech at the VMAs, we were all shocked — except for Donald Trump, who was excited for some competition!
The 2016 Republican hopeful commented on Kanye's most-talked about moment and told Rolling Stone, “I hope to run against him someday.”

The 69-year-old told the magazine, "I was actually watching, I saw him [announce his candidacy], and I said, 'That's very interesting. I wonder who gave him that idea?'"

The business mogul wasn’t always so enthusiastic when it came to the rapper. After the singer's infamous 2009 VMA stunt, the combed-over businessman told people to boycott the musician.
Trump has since moved past the incident, and spoke highly of Kim Kardashian’s beau.
"He's actually a different kind of person than people think. He's a nice guy.”
So, all jokes aside, who would win this presidential race?!
A market research firm calculated the results of the hypothetical election and found that Trump would beat Yeezy.
