Divorce Lawyer to the
Stars: “Nothing Shocks
The LA-based divorce attorney has a client list that reads like a who’s who of Hollywood royalty and In Touch has the exclusive glimpse inside her work.
One of the keys to her success is her extreme discretion. “I’m notoriously tight-lipped,” the divorced mom of two, who charges a reported $750 an hour, tells the mag. “I won’t talk about my cases.”
And while the 45-year-old won’t name names, she’s seen it all. Wealthy clients have tried to tack on outlandish clauses to prenuptial agreements: More money “if she doesn’t lose the baby fat in six months” or “if he doesn’t put the seat down on the toilet,” says Laura.
Some stars play dirty, threatening to reveal damaging information about their exes. Laura tells In Touch, “If it’s worth enough, the client will [pay] to keep it quiet.”
