Burying a child is difficult for any parent — but the death of 22-year-old Bobbi Kristina Brown is especially heartbreaking for her father, Bobby Brown, as he’s allegedly blaming himself for not intervening sooner.
“Bobby has so much guilt that is eating him up every day,” a friend of the 46-year-old tells the Daily Mail.
“He told me he should have insisted Krissy get help for her drug addiction and he should have forced Nick Gordon to move out of her townhouse and leave her alone — legally, if necessary.”

According to the family friend, the singer has expressed his regrets for not stepping up to the plate following the death of BK’s mother, Whitney Houston, in 2012.
“Bobby told me, ‘I should have gone to court to get a judge to make Bobbi Kristina go to rehab and then become her guardian — like Britney Spears’ father did to save her,’” the friend alleges.

In preparing to lay his daughter to rest, Bobby reportedly went to extreme measures to distance his late daughter from her allegedly troubled past.
First it was revealed that Nick Gordon was banned from attending the funeral, and now it has been reported that her “druggie” friends were also restricted from attending the service.
“The druggie pals that were with Krissy before she was found facedown in the water-filled bathtub were not invited to the funeral,” a source tells Radar Online.
“In fact, they were barred from attending!”

Earlier this week, In Touch Weekly reported that BK’s friend, Danyela Bradley, a potential key witness in the ongoing investigation of BK’s death, was tricked into being questioned by the family.
Danyela’s sister explains she thought she was invited to the hospice to say goodbye and pay respects to her dying friend. Once there, she was allegedly grilled about her boyfriend Max Lomas’ involvement on the day he and Nick Gordon discovered Bobbi Kristina unconscious.
Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away on July 26 at the age of 22. She had spent the six months leading up to her death in a coma after being found unconscious and unresponsive in the bathtub of her Roswell, Ga. home on Jan. 31.
