Their engagement lasted as long as the time it took Big Sean to propose to Naya Rivera.
The rapper has released a statement confirming he's split from his Glee star fiancée -- six months after he got down on one knee and popped the big question.
"After careful thought and much consideration, Sean has made the difficult decision to call the wedding off," his rep says. "The recent rumors and accusations reported by so called or fake sources are simply untrue. Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately. We will not be commenting again on this matter."
These rumors stem from a report the "Beware" rapper strayed and cheated on Naya.
But a source insists that chatter is not true, adding he is the one who broke up with the actress.
"Sean did not cheat on Naya and the allegations are 100% false and untrue," the insider claims.
Naya stopped following him on Twitter shortly after the reports surfaced today.
The brunette beauty, 27, and musician, 26, announced their engagement in October, six months after the stars revved up a romance.
The duo seemed to be on good terms as Naya recently gushed about their relationship
"I think he’s going to be an amazing husband," she told Cosmopolitan for Latinas earlier this year. "He'll make a great father someday. He’s so kind to people, but he also wears the pants in our relationship, which I love."
She added, "We Latinas are very independent and strong, so it’s even sweeter that I’ve found somebody who can let me out of that role for a minute."
Big Sean's rep broke the news to Us Weekly. Star magazine published the initial report of his alleged infidelity.
