Now that American Idol has taped for the first time in front of a live audience on Tuesday, there are concerns that judge Steven Tyler won’t be able to contain his excitement and refrain from swearing, which may get him into trouble.
“I really love Idol,” Steven told the New York Post. “There's a lot of talent and some great kids out there.”
Although the mouthy judge recognizes the challenges ahead, Steven still plans to fully embrace the spontaneity a live show presents, which was evident in Tuesday’s show, when the Top 12 male contestants hit the stage.
“Now we are seeing 15-year-olds who seem like they are 28. We are taping live now, and I am trying not to swear, but sometimes you've just got to be emphatic. If someone is f***ing good, I'm going to say it."
