It looks like Vanderpump Rules star LaLa Kent has cleaned up her act a bit. Between her party girl past and the passing of her dad earlier this year, LaLa has been through a lot. But LaLa recently took to social media to share something pretty special with her fans and followers: she’s 60 days sober and she’s doing better than ever.

In a sweet Instagram Live with her new fiancé Randall Emmett on Dec. 21, she said, “I’m 60 days sober. Aren’t you proud of me, babe?” Randall gave a sweet, yet obvious reply, “Of course I am babe.” The couple was laying in bed together during the Live story and you can definitely tell both LaLa, 28, and Randall, 47, are enjoying life at the moment.

“Today marks 60 days that I’ve been sober and it’s been the best 60 days that I’ve had in a really long time,” LaLa originally told fans in an Instagram story on Dec. 20, via Us Weekly. “Thank you to my sponsor, thanks to my sober coach, people in my meetings that tell me to keep taking it day by day,” she said as she blew a kiss to the camera. “I love you guys.” The date of this first story was her actual 60 day anniversary.

We love that LaLa has not only admitted that she’s on the road to recovery, but also that she’s not afraid to use a resource like Alcoholics Anonymous meetings to work on herself. In that move alone, LaLa’s maturity is evident.

According to Us Weekly, LaLa previously revealed her decision to quit drinking after her father died in April but struggled to stay true to her promise during the filming of Season 7 of Pump Rules over the summer.

In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, LaLa credits her new fiancé and long-time mystery boyfriend, Randall Emmett, with helping her realize when she needed to turn her life around. “My fiancé always says I have this sixth sense where I know when things have gotten to a point where they need to change, so I can’t really pinpoint one incident,” she told the magazine. “When I really came to the conclusion that I am in that zone of having a problem, I just said enough’s enough. I picked up the phone, I called this sponsor that had been recommended to me. It’s the best decision of my whole life.”

Between her sobriety and her recent engagement, it’s good to see LaLa in a good place and thriving — she deserves her happy ending.
