‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Lala Kent Reveals Her Father Has Sadly Died: “I’ve Never Felt So Lost”
Our hearts are breaking for Lala Kent. The Vanderpump Rules star took to Instagram on Monday, April 23 to reveal that her father has sadly died. The cause of his death is unknown at this time.
The reality star posted an old video of herself, her father, and her brother, Easton Burningham, goofing around with a rainbow animal filter. She captioned the clip, “Rest in paradise, my sweet dad. The world seems to be spinning much slower. I’ve never felt so lost. I’ve never felt so sad. My world has crumbled.”
In a 2015 interview with Heavy.com, Lala opened up about her close relationship with her dad. “I grew up in a very open home. We talked about literally everything — still do, which sometimes my dad is like, ‘OK, I don’t need to know EVERYTHING!'” she told the news outlet at the time. “My family is extremely close. I don’t have family in Utah except for immediate family so it is kind of like ‘we all we got!'”
Lala, who is in a serious relationship with boyfriend Randall Emmett, also previously shared that her father and mother taught her the importance of marriage through their strong bond. “I take marriage seriously. My parents have been together for 35 years, through thick and thin,” the 28-year-old said. “I haven’t ever been married, but I still hold that title sacred. Their marriage isn’t something I have any input on. I just hope everything works out and they stick together through all the ups and downs. I love them together.”
We’re sure Randall has been by Lala’s side as she copes with her tragic loss. In a previous interview with Life & Style, she gushed about her man. “I see marriage with him,” Lala confessed. “I see kids with him. We are absolutely in no rush. He spoils me beyond belief with materialistic things, but it’s beyond that. He takes care of my heart and soul.” We’re thinking of you during this difficult time, Lala.
