‘Unexpected’ Star Hailey 2 Shares an Update on Her Pregnancy Along With a Baby Bump Photo
Almost halfway there! Hailey Tilford, a.ka. (Hailey 2), dropped a bombshell during the Unexpected tell-all special when she announced she was pregnant and expecting a baby with her former best friend’s baby daddy, Matthew Blevins. But she’s not letting the hate get to her, and she took to Instagram on Wednesday, November 13, to share an update on her pregnancy so far along with a baby bump photo.
“18 weeks today,” Hailey, 18, wrote in the caption of her baby bump picture on her Instagram Story. She also added a sticker that explained at 18 weeks, her baby is the size of a cucumber.
Just hours before, she shared a countdown sticker for her due date. Since she’s 18 weeks, that means she’s almost at the halfway mark and is about five months away from welcoming her first child with Matthew, 16.
But Matthew is already a father to a baby girl named Kinsley, whom he shares with his ex-girlfriend, Hailey Tomlinson. Hailey Tomlinson (a.k.a. Hailey 1) was dating Matthew and was very close friends with Hailey 2, but Hailey 2 and Matthew started to develop feelings for each other. It resulted in the ultimate betrayal when Matthew broke up with Hailey 1 and went on to date Hailey 2.
In an even more shocking turn of events, Hailey 2 and Matthew announced they were expecting their first child together during part 2 of the Unexpected tell-all. “Whether anyone likes it or not, haters are about to start hating,” the teen said before revealing her pregnancy.
And she was right. Shortly after the tell-all aired on TLC on Sunday, November 10, Hailey 2 took to Instagram to officially announce the news on Instagram. “FINALLY I can make this post and not hide! Matthew and I are expecting Baby Blevins in April 2020 🤩👶🏼,” Hailey 2 wrote in her caption. “When I first found out I was scared [and] overwhelmed [and] happy [and] nervous. I still am all of those things but I’m mostly grateful because I get to be a mommy! I love seeing you and hearing your little heartbeat, you give me a reason to keep going and to stay strong! I know we’ll get LOTS of hate and very little support but we don’t care, we are keeping our baby and more excited than ever! ☺️ In advance to answer what I know will be asked — NO, it wasn’t planned nor did we want this right now. Matthew already has a baby and I was ready to focus on college, but God had a different plan for us 🤷🏻♀️. We are so ready to meet you already Baby Blevins! 😘.” Hours after sharing the news, Hailey 2 had to disable comments on Instagram because she was getting tons of negative comments.
