Travis Scott Denies Cheating on Kylie Jenner Before Breakup: ‘It’s Really Affecting’ Me
He’s clapping back! Travis Scott adamantly denies speculation that he cheated on Kylie Jenner before their recent breakup. He took to Instagram Stories on October 4 to set the record straight about their split.
“It’s really affecting when u see false things said about u,” he began. “Once again these false stories about me cheating are just simply not true.” The 28-year-old went on to say that what “is real” is that he’s “focusing on life, music and family at this moment.”
The 22-year-old makeup mogul also tried to quell rumors of a nasty split, taking to her Twitter on October 3 to say, “Travis and I are on great terms and our main focus right now is Stormi‼ Our friendship and our daughter is [our] priority.”
It’s probably a good thing that the former couple isn’t taking jabs at one another, because sources previously told In Touch that the couple are simply “taking a break,” and that there’s a good chance they could reconcile. At least, that’s what her family is hoping for.
“Everyone is hoping that it’s just temporary,” said the insider. “I do know that Travis doesn’t always want to be in that whirlwind public spotlight of the Kardashian and Jenner drama so maybe something happened.” And Travis seemingly isn’t the only one who was dealing with some discomfort in the relationship.
“They’ve had major trust issues from the start,” another source told In Touch. Despite being a billionaire, she’s been feeling “so insecure about herself because of her relationship.” Kylie apparently couldn’t bring herself to fully trust her baby daddy, but she couldn’t keep an eye on him 24/7 either. “Kylie has serious trust issues. She has her own life and career and child and can’t watch over him,” said the insider. It sounds like they really needed a little time apart to work through their issues, doesn’t it?
“They love Stormi, so don’t expect Travis to be gone for long,” said the first source. “He cherishes that little girl, nothing can keep him away from her.” We certainly hope that’s true, because they both deserve nothing but happiness. Although if Travis did do anything suspicious behind Kylie’s back, we’re sure we’ll hear all about it on Keeping Up with the Kardashians!
