Desperate to put the magic back into his swing, Tiger Woods has made a dramatic vow of celibacy in the run-up to any future major tournament, sources exclusively tell In Touch.

“Tiger believes having sex weakens his intensity and focus and his will to win because he is sated and comfortable and relaxed in the aftermath,” says an insider. “He feels that it steals something from him competitively.”

The 48-year-old golf legend has fallen upon tough times since a 2021 car crash left him with compound fractures in his right leg and a mangled right foot. Doctors were forced to slice open his calf to save his leg.

Since then, Woods was forced to drop out of the 2022 PGA Championship after three rounds because of excruciating pain, and then withdrew from the 2023 Masters after playing only 14 holes.

Swearing off sex would be a big deal for Woods. The 15-time major championship winner went through a six-week treatment program for sex addiction in 2010 after it was reported that he had affairs with multiple women, leading to the end of his marriage to Swedish model Elin Nordegren, 44.

“Tiger is an absolute fiend when it comes to sex,” says a source. “He’s obsessive about it. He thinks about it all the time, and so he faces quite the test in even limited bouts of abstinence. I, for one, doubt he can do it!”
