Amy Roloff Shares Hilariously Dramatic Slo-Mo With Her Friends During Weekend Getaway At The Beach
LOL! If you need a laugh this Monday afternoon, you’ve got to check out the video Amy Roloff shared on Instagram. In the clip, she’s running along a beach with several of her friends during a weekend getaway, but someone slowed down the video and set it to the “Chariots of Fire” theme for added hilarious impact. Take a look below.
The video starts out as a totally black screen, so viewers have no idea what they’re in for when they click. The caption Amy included reads, “Friends . . . Living Sharing Doing Life together. 💕. Nothing better! Beach weekend with girlfriends 😊❤️🍷,” but that doesn’t really indicate to her social media followers what hilarity is in store.
At first, the women in the video race along the waves like normal, but the video quickly switches over to slow-motion and it takes a funny turn. Most of the clip features Amy and five girlfriends (along with a dog who may or may not be part of their entourage?) running towards the camera while the “Chariots of Fire” theme plays, and the video finally ends with everything back to regular speed and at least one of the women giggling at their collective antics.
Amy posted another video on her Instagram from her beach getaway, but that one didn’t feature a silly race across the sand. Instead, Amy took a video of the waves crashing on the beach, and says over the footage, “Sunday morning, Rockaway beach. Great weekend with girlfriends. Wish I could stay a little bit longer,” and yea, we feel that, Amy.
Most of Amy’s recent Instagram posts have been more along the lines of fall-related activities, rather than beach adventures. It’s nice to see that she was able to get away from the farm for a weekend and just spend some time enjoying the company of good friends — funny slow-mo sand racing and all.
