Former ‘Teen Mom OG’ Star Mackenzie Edwards Slams Haters: Don’t ‘Say Stupid S–t About My Family’
Do not mess with her family! Former Teen Mom OG star Mackenzie Edwards has been working on herself while her husband Ryan Edwards is completing yet another rehab stint, but don’t get it twisted — she’s still not here for all of the haters on social media. Mackenzie took to Instagram on Friday, Nov. 3, to open up about how she’s been able to work on being more compassionate and she shared a very strongly-worded message to all of the trolls at the same time.
“Over the past year, I have learned so much about compassion. And I had to learn the hard way and it wasn’t fun,” the 21-year-old said in a series of video clips posted to her Instagram story. “I have just always wondered why I’ve been kind of tough and not really seeing anyone else’s perspective or understood or had any empathy.”
She went on to explain that the reason why she was sharing her journey with her fans is because she wanted to show them that they should never give up on something if they really want to change something about themselves. She also said she put her faith in God in her heart, and she trusted that he would make sure she would learn any and all lessons that she needed to learn.
“I guess this is just your daily dose of real talk, but I figured it was something that I needed to share because it is important and it is important to have an open heart and to care about people — but don’t let it fool you. Just because my heart is open and I actually have compassion these days, I am still tough as nails,” Mack continued. “So here’s you an unedited take on my life. It’s just how it goes. What I don’t have sympathy for is when you say stupid s–t about my family and my husband and my kids.” She really told them!
