How you doin’?!
Talk show star Wendy Williams recently posed naked for a PETA ad, and girlfriend is looking fantastic!
"We should all try to be comfortable in our own skin and let animals keep theirs," Wendy says, adding a tip for fur-wearers. “Keep your mind open and do your research.”
In the ad, the feisty television personality is sprawled out on the floor wearing nothing but her birthday suit and a custom wig. The text above her naked bod says, “I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur.”
But Wendy’s not the first celeb to star in the famous PETA campaign. She’s joining the likes of fellow “I’d Rather Go Naked” stars Olivia Munn, Joanna Krupa, Bethenny Frankel, Holly Madison and more.
And while none of the other stars donned a wig for the ads, In Touch exclusively revealed last week that Wendy has over 200 hair pieces— one which was created specifically for the PETA campaign.
“My hair stylist custom build this wig for me, specifically for this shoot,” she says of her ‘do. “It’s fantasy hair, 28 inches long.”
The reason for Wendy’s wigs is more than simply style, though. Fourteen years ago she was diagnosed with a thyroid condition, which caused her hair to thin.
“I’m not ashamed of wearing wigs,” she admits to In Touch. “The hair I have naturally is not the hair that fits my personality.”
And based on her ability to bare it all to the world in these new ads, we’d say Wendy’s personality is nothing but ballsy, bold and beautiful.
