Little Fashionista! Suri Cruise Looks Like Stylish Mom Katie Holmes While Strolling Through NYC
Budding fashionista! Suri Cruise is taking after her famous mama, Katie Holmes, every day. The 13-year-old was spotted strolling with a friend through New York City on Monday, September 30, and she couldn’t help but show off her stylish outfit — a bright yellow sparkly skirt with a patterned red blouse and white sneakers.
Earlier this month, Suri paraded through the streets of the Big Apple as she walked her dog to the park. This past summer, the teenager and the 40-year-old actress were frequently seen out and about running errands — from grabbing breakfast together to going on a coffee run — and these two are definitely the ultimate mother-daughter duo.
Clearly, the Dawson’s Creek alum — she shares Suri with her ex-husband, Tom Cruise — adores her little girl. So much so, the brunette beauty took to Instagram on September 26 to share a tribute for Suri on National Daughters’ Day. “#NationalDaughtersDay,” the Hollywood A-lister captioned a beautiful painting of a mother with her daughter picking up flowers.
Of course, fans couldn’t help but gush about her sweet post. One person wrote, “I love this. It is beautiful,” while another person echoed, “Such a beautiful painting. It captures the love and tenderness between a mother and her daughter perfectly.” A third person chimed in, writing, “Beautiful painting about you and beautiful Suri.”
It’s been a hard few months for Katie ever since she split from her longtime boyfriend Jamie Foxx, but the Ohio native seems to be leaning on Suri. “Her main focus is raising Suri, whom she’s so proud of. Being a mom and an actress is enough for her right now,” a source told In Touch exclusively about Katie’s post-breakup life.
Katie and Jamie, 51, were together for six years before they split up. The former flames had been arguing “nonstop over his partying,” a source divulged. “He’s always turning up to Hollywood parties and L.A. events and being photographed with other women. He’s always been this way. That’s part of why Katie was so hesitant to go public with their relationship. He can’t help himself.”
While Katie is focusing on herself at the moment, she is not ruling out finding someone down the line. “Of course, she’d like to meet her soulmate, but she’s not discouraged,” the insider explained. “She’s not dating right now, but she’s not opposed to it either. Katie is living her life. She really is in a happy place. No one needs to worry about her.”
Well, it seems like Suri and Katie’s bond is unbreakable!
