It’s been nearly two months since In Touch broke the news that Donald Trump cheated on his wife Melania with Stormy Daniels, and now the porn star is blaming the scandal on her inability to get Twitter verified. According to The Blast, Stormy believes that the social networking site refuses to give her that little blue check mark because of her connection with the President.

Although it’s often difficult for adult entertainers to get their accounts verified, previous reports revealed that numerous fake accounts have been swindling her fans out of cash, so she wanted to prevent that from happening. Her team pointed out to Twitter that Instagram was quick to recognize her worldwide fame at the moment and instantly verified her account to ensure nobody would be fooled.

Still, Twitter has said her account is “not eligible” to be verified at the current time, and one employee at the company told the adult star’s rep that the entire “general verification process is currently paused.”

Allegations of an affair between Trump and Stormy recently resurfaced after a Wall Street Journal article reported that the porn star was paid a reported $130,000 to stay silent. While Stormy adamantly denied that anything happened in a letter released by Trump’s lawyer on Jan. 10, In Touch released an explosive first-person interview — which can be read in its entirety here — with the adult film star that was conducted in 2011, in which she details her affair with the then-star of NBC’s The Apprentice.

“[The sex] was textbook generic,” she said while discussing the fling they had less than four months after Donald’s wife, Melania, gave birth to their son, Barron. “I actually don’t even know why I did it, but I do remember while we were having sex, I was like, ‘Please, don’t try to pay me.'” Stormy — whose real name is Stephanie Clifford — passed a polygraph test at the time of the interview.
