Just days after Sister Wives star Meri Brown confessed to an affair that rocked her complicated relationship with her ex-husband, Kody, and her three “Sister Wives,” In Touch Weekly has obtained more voicemails the mother-of-one, 44, left for her online paramour “Sam” — that reveal not only her unhappiness with her situation at home, but also detail the intimacy of the relationship she shared with the “man” she met online!
In one of the voicemails — left by Meri for Sam, and obtained by In Touch Weekly — the TLC star tells her online suitor, “Being with you is very special to me. It really is. Please don’t take that away from us okay? It’s very special to me you know that… I guess I’ll just give you your space. I understand you need that. All of this just breaks my heart because I don’t know what is going on… Anyway I wish you weren’t so mad at me right now. I really hate it when you’re mad at me. I wish you weren’t mad.”
Earlier this week, Meri admitted to having an emotional affair behind Kody’s back with “someone online who turned out to be not who they said they were.”
While In Touch Weekly has learned that “Sam Cooper” — who is supposedly a 6-foot-6 man from Chicago — is actually a woman using a false identity online, “Sam” maintains that “he” is not only a real person but undoubtedly a man.
In the wake of the scandal, Meri has expressed her gratitude that she has her family to lean on, though sources close to the situation tell In Touch Weekly that the scandal is heartbreaking for the family, as — despite the family patriarch’s polygamist practices — all the wives are expected to be faithful to Kody, and only Kody.

The blow is especially hard as In Touch has learned that Robyn — the youngest of Kody’s wives, who he legally married earlier this year — allegedly knew Meri was being “Catfished” all along.
“Robyn absolutely knew from the beginning that Meri was being Catfished,” a source close to pregnant reality star, 36, tells In Touch in the new issue on newsstands now.
“Robyn sat back and just watched as the whole scam unraveled.”
While an insider tells In Touch Meri and Sam’s relationship began because she was lonely and unhappy in her spiritual marriage to Kody, (they divorced earlier this year after 24 years of marriage so he could legally marry Robyn), the voicemails make it clear it quickly progressed into something more serious.
One of the voicemails exposes their closeness, as they discuss plans to meet up in Utah and she declares, “I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you — I just do.”
