‘Sister Wives’ Star Janelle Brown Shares Rare Photo of Kody With Her Kids: ‘Family Time’

He made an appearance! Janelle Brown shared a new photo of her husband, Kody Brown, with some of their kids after weeks of speculation from Sister Wives fans regarding what had become of her spouse. “One of the coldest days so far this fall and this crew wants ice cream!” she captioned the photo, which featured Kody, 50, and three of their kids — Garrison, Gabriel and Savanah Brown. “I abstained, I just couldn’t do it LOL. P.S. Garrison @robertthebrown says that this is his ‘pose’ 😂. #familytime #silly #icecream.”

Fans immediately took notice in the comments of the rare Kody sighting. “Gosh first pic of [Kody] from any of the wives!!!” one person wrote. Another said, “Nice to see Cody [sic] 😉.”

The replies came after fans previously asked fellow sister wife Christine Brown where the heck her husband is these days. When she shared photos from an outing many of her family members enjoyed on October 15, they noticed the absence of Kody and questioned Christine, 47.

“Hey 👋🏾, just seems like [you’re] a single parent you do everything with [your] kids, where’s Kody?” one fan commented. Another Instagram user wrote, “Wish your family would update everyone on stuff. Like where is Kody? [You] and the other wives never post any pictures of him and [Robyn] has stopped posting altogether.”

Indeed, the last time Janelle, 50, posted a photo of her husband was on June 26. She shared a snapshot of him talking about her son Gabriel’s class readings with him and gushed, “I love this man.” Meanwhile, Christine hasn’t posted a picture of her spouse since August 14, and that was more to promote her business than to show off her husband.

But to be fair, Kody is somewhat active over on Twitter. On October 27, he wrote about a rash of suicides in the Utah polygamous community, and before that, he shared an homage to his hair. (Yes, you read that correctly.) So it could just be that his wives don’t post photos of him all that much, and he’s busy with other matters. Still, that definitely makes it notable when Sister Wives fans do catch a glimpse of the more elusive reality star.
