“My new album is like another member of the team, or the family. It will be a true warrior, has something from all genres, from band to pop, collaborations of DJ Snake and Selena [Gomez],” she told the magazine. “I tried to keep a key element: That the music is danceable.”

Selena made her big return to the spotlight during the American Music Awards following her stay at rehab. She opened up about her troubles prior to the stint during the ceremony.

“It’s safe to say most of you know a lot of my life, whether I liked it or not. I had to stop because I had everything and I was absolutely broken inside,” she revealed. “I kept it all together enough to where I would never let you down but I kept it too much together to where I would let myself down.”

Over the summer, Selena announced she would be “taking time off” for “anxiety, panic attacks, and depression,” which she claimed were the side-effects of the autoimmune disease lupus. In Touch had previously learned one of the reasons behind her admittance for treatment was ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber.

“Selena had a meltdown,” a source revealed. “While Justin tried his best to ignore her, that only made things worse. Justin and his family are praying that she gets the help she needs. They just want Selena to get well.”

The brunette beauty has since returned to social media following her treatment, and recently expressed her gratitude towards supportive fans. “By grace through faith. Kindness always wins. I love you guys. God bless,” she wrote.
