Nothing but love here! Nicki Minaj released her latest song, “Bust Down Barbiana,” and since she mentioned Ariana Grande in the lyrics, fans immediately thought that the hip-hop star, 36, was dissing the “No Tears Left to Cry” singer, 25. Watch the video above to see what both Ariana and Nick had to say about it and don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube Channel.

In the lyrics, the Caribbean native sings, “Killing everybody beat, thank u, next Ariana.”

Some fans immediately panicked at the thought of these two powerhouses feuding after being friends for many years. One wrote, “The tweets are scaring me. Did @nickiminaj just drop a diss about @arianagrande?!?” while another echoed, “Did Nicki just write an Ariana diss track?????” A third chimed in, asking, “So, it wasn’t shade?”

The musical artists have collaborated on five songs — “Bang Bang,” “Get On Your Knees,” “Bed,” “Side to Side” and “The Light is Coming” — since 2014.

Even though everything is good between these two, Nicki has been fighting with Cardi B over the past several months. The Grammy nominee and the “I Like It Like That” singer, 26, got into an altercation at a New York Fashion Week party in September 2018 after Nicki apparently made a comment about Cardi’s parenting skills. In response, the Bronx native threw a shoe at her.

However, in October 2018, Nicki confessed to her followers that she was turning over a new leaf. “OK you guys, let’s focus on positive things only from here on out,” she wrote on Twitter. “We’re all so blessed. I know this stuff is entertaining and funny to a lot of people, but I won’t be discussing this nonsense anymore. Thank you for the support and encouragement year after year. Love you.”
