Nick Viall Says He Has No Plans to Marry Vanessa Grimaldi
Looks like we won’t be seeing Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi walking down the aisle any time soon!
Even though the former couple got engaged on the finale of The Bachelor, the soon-to-be groom, 36, said that he has made no plans to marry the Canadian beauty, 29.

“Like Vanessa and I have said, it’s too early for us right now,” the current Dancing With the Stars competitor said. “We’re still just doing a lot of new things together.”
He continued, “We’re very open about the fact that we have a long way to go, and we’re excited about that journey.”

Even before Nick got down on one knee with that Neil Lane sparkler, Vanessa admitted she had some hesitations when it came to accepting Nick’s hand in marriage. Even after that, when they appeared on After the Final Rose, the two spoke at length about the “challenges” they faced — even early in their relationship.
Still, Nick insisted that they will exchange vows — eventually — and have already taken strides in their relationship.
“She’s living with me,” he explained. “But obviously we’re still working through the visa stuff so she may have to pop back to Montreal at some point. While we’re in LA, we’re living together.”
Before the finale even aired, an insider told In Touch that Vanessa was having some serious regrets about her relationship — especially after seeing his behavior on the show.

“Not only was she hurt by what she [saw], but she was so embarrassed by his behavior,” an insider previously told In Touch, adding that the Nick she got to know personally was totally different than the Nick she saw on TV. “Nick is already very sweet and loving toward her in private, but [she saw] how much of a playboy he is, thanks to the show.”
