Nick sadly struck out twice during his time on the Bachelorette. He was the runner-up during Andi Dorfman‘s search for love on Season 10 of the series, losing to Josh Murray. He appeared during the next season with Kaitlyn Bristowe, only to lose once again to contestant Shawn Booth.

This time around, Nick’s luck has finally changed, “I definitely found love,” he revealed to In Touch. JoJo Fletcher was able to give fans a bit — though not much! — of a hint as to who the lucky lady is, “Somebody that really makes him think and pushes him to be better,” she said. “And who’s obviously beautiful!”
Nick has also made history with some of his choices this season. The recipient of the first-impression rose was Dallas attorney Rachel Lindsay, who became the first African-American woman to receive the honor during the series’ 20 season-run. The recipient of the rose usually ends up being a front runner for the rest of the competition, so is this Nick’s leading lady?
“I’m probably a bit more unconventional,” Nick revealed. “I’m not afraid to play by my own rules, follow my heart, and do what I think is best, regardless of the majority opinion.”
