Country singer Ned LeDoux is taking time to grieve with his family after facing an unimaginable tragedy. Over the weekend, the songwriter and his wife of over a decade, Morgan, revealed their precious daughter, Haven, died due to a “choking accident in the home” just over a month after celebrating her second birthday. Now, his loved ones are leaning on each other as they mourn the toddler’s untimely passing.

Ned, 42, and his wife, Morgan, have been married since May 2008. The couple shares two children together — a son named Bronson, 9, as well as their little girl, Haven, who was born in September 2017. For those who are wondering, Ned is also the son of singer and rodeo star Chris LeDoux, who passed away in 2005.

On Sunday, October 27, the country star shared the devastating news on Facebook, confirming that Haven died a week earlier. “It is with great sadness that Ned and Morgan inform friends and fans that their two-year-old daughter Haven passed away on October 20th due to a tragic choking accident in the home. The LeDoux family appreciates your love and support and is requesting privacy at this time,” the statement read, garnering several supportive messages from his followers.

“Such a horrible heartbreaking tragedy! Keeping Ned and Morgan and family in our thoughts and prayers,” one fan commented. “I’m sure that Chris was there to greet and hold that precious girl until they are all to be reunited again.”

“How unbelievably sad. Lord please comfort them and give them peace,” another responded. “So many prayers for them. Give them peace that she is with Chris and watching over them from heaven. Many hugs coming your way Ned and Morgan.”

Ned and his wife have been going strong for years, and they celebrated reaching a new milestone in their marriage this May. “Well spent weekend at home. 11-year wedding anniversary, Wife’s B-day and Mothers Day. Also got to catch a Royals game. Thanks Homer! I’m a lucky guy. Blessed all around,” the musician captioned a photo of them.

In September, Ned shared the most recent portrait of Haven, showing her smiling from ear to ear while celebrating her birthday. “Turned the big #2 today! Happy to be home for this special day,” he wrote at the time. “What a character this one.”

We’re keeping the LeDoux family in our thoughts during this tough time.
