Actress Mischa Barton has had a pretty rough year with tons of issues and drama, but at least she’s ending it on a positive note! In Touch magazine has learned that The O.C. alum is taking her relationship with model James Abercrombie to the next level.

The actress, 31, is “looking at places in LA” where they can live together, an insider tells In Touch. “Right now, they both rent apartments, so she’s saying they should buy a new place and move in.”

James, who is a model and an heir to a $574 million fortune (his dad is one of Australia’s richest businessmen), isn’t worried about the move (although Mischa hasn’t had much luck settling into new digs in the past.) Says the insider, “He’s actually on board with this.”

The couple started dating earlier this year shortly after they met at a party in LA back in May and they only waited one month to officially confirm that their relationship via a statement from James’ modeling agency.

“James is currently dating well-known actress Mischa Barton,” FRM Model Management director Stephen Bucknall told The Daily Mail. “James met Mischa at a party in Los Angeles just on a month ago. They then headed off on a small trip to France. He is now back in Los Angeles and they are spending a lot of time together.”
