Where’s Sammi ‘Sweetheart’? Mike Sorrentino Shares Photo of ‘Jersey Shore’ Cast on 10-Year Anniversary

It’s been 10 years since we were first introduced to the guidos of Jersey Shore and it feels like just yesterday they were fist-pumping at Karma and cooking up some pasta for Sunday dinner. Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino took to Instagram to commemorate the milestone, although many fans noticed their former costar, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, was missing from the group photo.

“Here’s to 10 years and friends that became family 💯 @jerseyshore,” the 37-year-old wrote on an image of the cast celebrating on Tuesday, December 3. Several fans noticed Sammi, 32, was absent from the photo and took to the comments to express how they miss the “Sweetest bitch you’ll ever meet.”

“I miss Sam!!!! She needs to come back into the picture!!!!” one fan wrote, while another added, “Crazy that Sammy doesn’t want to be a part of anything [Jersey Shore] related, I understand not coming back to film but she damn near deleted this era of her life.”

Others didn’t think it was fair Angelina Pivarnick made the cut despite her on-and-off beef with the cast. “Ehhh @angelinamtv is family and the beautiful @sammisweetheart not? F—k yooooouuu [sic] Mike. Another echoed, “Technically Angelina shouldn’t be in this pic. She wasn’t there the full 10 years … #byefelicia,” with a waving hand emoji.

Although many were upset to see Sam cut from the family photo, some came to her defense — respecting her decision to leave the shore. “Why is everyone mentioning Sam? I mean I love her, but she chose to not live this life anymore! Get over it [people]! And leave Angelina alone like let her live, damn lol,” one user wrote.

Despite not being in the photograph, we have a feeling Sammi doesn’t mind as she left her days at the Shore Store in the past. Back in October, a source told Us Weekly Sammi has been ignoring her former costars. “Some of the cast members have tried reaching out, but she hasn’t responded to them lately,” the insider said. “They would really like to still be friends.” Although it’s been 10 years, it seems like the drama at the shore will never end.
