Mark Ruffalo on Sean Penn and Scarlett Johansson: “I’m Very Happy for Them!”
Sean Penn’s friend and former co-star, Mark Ruffalo, and his beautiful wife, Sunrise, had nothing but praise for Sean and his hot new flame Scarlett Johansson at the premiere of Mark’s directorial debut of Sympathy for Delicious hosted by DeLeon in NYC.
When In Touch commented that Sean, 50, and Scarlett, 26, make a gorgeous couple, Mark smiled, “They are!” and added, “I’m very happy for them.”
He went on to explain what he admired most about his friend Sean. “He puts his money where his mouth is. He has the convictions of his beliefs. I think he’s a hell of an actor and it’s pretty admirable that he takes the time to help other people. He catches a lot of crap for it, which I think is even cooler, you know!”
Mark’s wife, Sunrise, pointed out that Scarlett and her husband share the same birthday, November 22, and Mark is co-starring with Scarlett in The Avengers, which begins filming this week.
Is all of this compatibility a coincidence? We think not!
