Have you met the queen of petty, also known as Mariah Carey?! In Touch can exclusively reveal that there’s a reason she’s still walking around sporting her engagement ring from her ex-fiancé, James Packer — even though she has happily moved on from that relationship with her backup dancer Bryan Tanaka. While Mimi has moved it over from the sacred left ring finger over to a middle finger, a source exclusively tells In Touch that she “knows exactly what she’s doing.”

“Her message couldn’t be clearer,” says the insider, adding, “She was wearing her huge engagement finger from James on her right middle finger as a big ‘screw you.'” We bet this makes Bryan at least a little bit jealous — but we know this diva does what she wants!

The former couple got engaged in January 2016 after dating for roughly six months. They ended things in October, and one month later it was revealed that she was “having a breakdown” over their split.

“Mariah’s behavior when it was over was ridiculous. She’s gone full diva,” a source exclusively told In Touch at the time, adding, “Now that James is out of her life, she’s acting loopier than ever. One minute she’s saying she wants to go to dinner to be seen by her fans, and the next minute she’s complaining that they won’t leave her alone when she goes out.”

Her former stylist Phillip Bloch further echoed these claims, sharing, She’s a lot to handle. She’s delusional, but that’s okay. It works in her life. She’s like a ride at the amusement park — there’s a lot of turbulence going on there.”

Before James, Mariah was married to Nick Cannon from 2008 to 2016. They share a set of twins together, a daughter, Monroe, and son, Moroccan.
