Maitland Ward Is the Face of Deeper.com With an Exclusive Contract for Vixen Media Group After Porn Debut
Congrats! Maitland Ward officially signed a deal with Vixen Media Group — the company owns Deeper.com and specializes in the production of adult content — to be the face of Deeper in addition to their different platforms. The Boy Meets World alum just released her first adult feature, Drive, in September, and now she is taking the next step in her new career.
“I will be the star of their features for Deeper, and they also do featurettes, like series — they will have different shorter kind of series things,” the 42-year-old told In Touch exclusively. “First of all, the scripts are going to be very detailed. We are working on producing high quality material, but if you do it mainstream, like taking out the sex acts by having just the story and the plot, you can release it to things like festivals and any mainstream kind of stuff.”
The redheaded beauty noted that the company has never had a deal like this before. “It’s a big contract,” she explained. “This was unprecedented for them to draw something like this up. No one on the adult side has ever done that before too, so the contract is heavy on the acting side and the sex.”
Naturally, the actress couldn’t believe that she was given this amazing opportunity. “Vixen is a huge corporation — I just love all of their stuff. It’s so high quality and [well] produced and just really classy,” she gushed. “I am just really excited to be able to do the kinds of things that I had dreamed of and talked about and to really put them into action this year. This was exactly what I had been wanting and just the way it came about — I am really happy about it.”
Even though Maitland entered the porn industry just a month ago, she wants her fans to know this is something she has been thinking about for a long time. “I worked really hard for the past five years to develop my brand. I guess starting with the cosplay and things that I had really liked to do on my own that I developed,” she said. “I sold all my content and stuff online, and it got sexier and more adult and stuff. Then, I realized as a person, I said, I would really like to do this kind of thing — the more mainstream stuff with the sexual content. I really thought I would have to produce it on my own, to start it out. I didn’t know that there would be people who would believe in it so much. It’s really a dream come true.”
The California native will continue to work with Kayden Kross — who directed her in Drive — for the next year, and Maitland is looking forward to all of their upcoming collaborations. “Kayden is such a strong female director. So to do all of this sexual tension dramatic stuff with her — it was really amazing. I think she is going to take me to some dark, twisted places — things that I have never done before. It’s exciting to me to explore these dark places and these taboos and these situations. I get to be hand held through it, through Kayden, so she is like a sister to me. She is going to be with me every step of the way, so I feel very trusting and very safe with her to these places, which is really a gift. It’s a gift to me that it happened this way.”
