Welp, we’re officially cringing. Prior to the college admissions scam, Lori Loughlin LOL’d at the amount of cash she dropped on her daughter Olivia Jade‘s education.

In a video titled, “TEACHING MY MOM SLANG TERMS OF 2017,” the YouTube star, then 17, educated the 54-year-old of the phrase, “England is my city.” In response, the Fuller House actress said, “England is NOT a city,” to which her youngest replied, “I know, that’s why it’s so, so, so iconic on YouTube! … Well, it’s not iconic at all, it’s just really dumb.”

The mother-of-two, who also shares daughter Bella, 20, with her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, then chimed in with this gem: “If you would’ve said, ‘England is my city,’ I would say, ‘Why did I pay all this money for your education?'” #Awk.

Loughlin and Giannulli have been accused of paying a hefty sum, $500,000 to be exact, in bribes to help their daughters get designated as recruits to the USC crew team, though they did not participate in the sport. Both Loughlin and Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman, 56, were indicted on March 12, on charges related to a nationwide college admissions cheating scam, In Touch previously confirmed. According to court documents, there were arrest warrants granted on March 11 for Loughlin and Huffman for “conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud.”

Although the mom and daughter duo appeared to be BFFs in the clip, the actress previously said that she’s their mom first and foremost. “Listen, I am not their friend,” she told Us Weekly in 2016. “I am here. I am their mother. I’m here to guide them, and I think that is first and foremost. Look, I try to instill good values and be a good person, and for the most part, I have to say that my girls, they are good people. They are good people. They have good hearts.”

She continued, “I would say that I am loving but that I am firm. I would say that … I am available, and they have access to me. I am involved, but I am not hovering. I’m there to guide. I think I’m funny, but they don’t. But I still make that joke. They kind of roll their eyes at me, but I am funny. I’m funny! And they’re like, ‘No, you’re not.’ But anyways, we have fun. We have a good time together.”

Loughlin’s next court date is currently scheduled for March 29 in Boston.
