Awkward! Actress Lori Loughlin has a University of Southern California flag flying outside her large mansion in California, which normally wouldn’t raise any eyebrows since her daughters — 20-year-old daughter Isabella and 19-year-old daughter Olivia — attend the school. But in the wake of a nationwide college admissions cheating scam that Lori is allegedly involved in, it’s a little problematic. See the photos of the home — and the flag flying proudly outside of it — in our gallery below.
Loughlin, 54, has the flag prominently displayed outside her home. Considering the fact that she and her husband Mossimo Giannulli are accused of allegedly agreeing “to pay bribes totaling $500,000 in exchange for having their two daughters designated as recruits to the USC crew team — despite the fact that they did not participate in crew — thereby facilitating their admission to USC,” it’s not a great look now.
According to court documents obtained by In Touch, arrest warrants were granted on March 11 for Loughlin and several other high profile figures for alleged “conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud.”
Just to make things more awkward, in August 2018 — less than a year before Loughlin was named as one of the individuals allegedly involved in the scandal — her daughter Olivia Jade Giannulli faced backlash for saying she was really interested in college for the “game days” and “partying.”
Giannulli said in a video, posted on August 14, “I don’t know how much of school I’m gonna attend, but I’m gonna go in and talk to my deans and everyone, and hope that I can try and balance it all … But I do want the experience … I don’t really care about school, as you guys all know.” Well, apparently her parents cared enough to display a flag from her university outside their house!
