Pregnant Keshia Knight Pulliam Reveals Her Unborn Baby Girl’s Name — and It’s Inspired by Her Divorce
Well, that’s some unlikely inspiration!
In the midst of Keshia Knight Pulliam‘s sudden divorce, she is finding inspiration and letting herself be led by grace. In fact, the 37-year-old pregnant star is feeling so inspired, she’s already chosen a baby name for her unborn girl.
“I was back and forth on if I wanted to share this or not, but I decided that I would because it is so hard for me to keep it in,” Keshia recently revealed on her podcast, Kandidly Keshia. “I’m so excited about her. Her name is… Ella Grace.”

Keshia announced her pregnancy back in July when she held up a pink cupcake in an Instagram snapshot. A week later, her husband, Ed Hartwell, surprisingly filed for divorce. Then things got even messier when he demanded a paternity test. He even went as far as to share details of their sex life, reasoning that the couple stopped having sex and so the baby likely wasn’t his.

But despite all the unimaginable drama, Keshia is staying strong and choosing to act with her unborn baby’s middle name: Grace.

“When I tell you through all of this the grace of God has so been with us and has covered us and protected us — she’s been my saving grace to get through it,” Keshia said. “It’s knowing that it’s not about me. Knowing that on days when I want to curl up in the bed, pull the covers over my head and cry until my eyes fall out, that is not an option, because she feels everything I feel, and right now, it is bigger than me — it’s about her. It is about her being OK.”
Despite it all, it’s good to see Keshia finding the positive!
