It’s always upsetting when a celebrity couple goes through a divorce, but in Kendra Wilkinson‘s case, it could be the perfect opportunity to make great reality TV! A source tells In Touch that the 32-year-old, who recently announced her split from husband, Hank Baskett, is interested in putting a spin on her reality show, Kendra on Top, to save its ratings.

“Kendra thinks that her dealing with her breakup and dating again as she struggles as a single mom would grab viewers,” the source says. “A green light would give Kendra the ability to take care of the kids and pay off Hank, who is most likely going to file for spousal support.” According to the source, WE tv has been “receptive” to the idea, so it sounds like things could be looking up for the reality star!

On April 2, the former Playboy model posted an emotional Instagram story about her marital problems with Hank. “I did everything I could. It wasn’t good enough,” a tearful Kendra explained. “I will always love him, and and my heart will always remain open for him. I believed in forever. I really did.”

Last Friday, Kendra posted an Instagram explaining the reason behind their decision to part ways. “I will forever love Hank and be open but for now we have chosen to go our own ways,” the mother-of-two wrote. “I’m beyond sad and heartbroken because i did believe in forever, that’s why i said yes but unfortunately too much fear has gotten in the way.”

Today is the last day of my marriage to this beautiful man. I will forever love Hank and be open but for now we have chosen to go our own ways. I’m beyond sad and heartbroken because i did believe in forever, that’s why i said yes but unfortunately too much fear has gotten in the way. We are both amazing parents and our kids will be happy n never know the difference other than seeing mama smile. Sometimes love looks funny. We are told to make sacrifices in life if it’s true love well in this case it’s me. I want to see happy Hank again… i miss that. Marriage was just a piece of paper and a piece of jewelry but our hearts will always be real. U will prob see us together a lot but it’s because there’s no hate. Love wins in this case it’s just looks a little funny. Thank you Hank for a beautiful 8 years of marriage and 2 beautiful kids. I feel so thankful and blessed. ❤️

And it looks like the star is already feeling better. On April 11, Kendra was all smiles on Instagram with BFF Jessica Hall. “So thankful for friends right now,” she wrote. “Laughter is the best medicine and yesterday i overdosed. Lol. Getting back to being Kdub again n feels good.”
