When Netflix debuted the second season of House of Cards on Feb. 14, it seemed everyone stayed at home on Valentine’s Day binge watching the Netflix original season. Even President Obama couldn’t resist the political thriller—tweeting, “Tomorrow: House of Cards. No spoilers, please” one day before the premiere.

But, there’s at least one person who fought the temptation to stream all 13 episodes at once—Kate Mara, who happens to star in the Emmy-winning show!

In Touch Weekly caught up with the 30-year-old actress at the Maybelline New York and The Daily Front Row Fashion and Hollywood Luncheon, where she revealed that the last time she spent her last night in watching House of Cards—although she hasn’t finished quite yet!

“I’m not done yet. I haven’t seen the whole season,” she admitted to In Touch. “I thought I was going to binge on the first two days, but on Valentine’s Day, I was so tired I only got to episode 5, so now I’m on episode 7.”

Warning—for those who, like Kate, haven’t had a chance to watch the series in its entirety or even at all—there’s a major spoiler ahead!

The gorgeous actress revealed she hasn’t watched the second season in its entirety because her character, Zoe, gets killed off early on—making it hard to watch.

She shot her part last June, which means she has kept the shocking fate of her character a secret for almost nine months!

“It’s really nice not to have to keep that [secret],” Kate told In Touch.
