Is it too late now to say sorry? Justin Bieber posted a tribute photo of the late Kim Porter — who used to date Sean “Diddy” Combs — on Instagram to help promote his clothing line, Drew House. However, many fans were not happy with the singer and thought it was insensitive move.

“@drewhouse #diddyfordrewhouse @diddy KP YOU WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED FOR THE STUNNING WOMAN YOU WERE INSIDE AND OUT …” the 25-year-old captioned an old photo of Kim with the record producer, 49, on Sunday, March 31.

Immediately, several of Justin’s followers expressed their feelings in the comments section. One person wrote, “Delete this, sir. He shared this picture in memory of his wife, not for promo for the clothing line,” while another echoed, “Hope this gets taken down. Disrespectful to reuse a photo Diddy used on a memorial post to promote a brand.” A third person vented, writing, “This post was a tribute to his lover … not for your brand shout-out. It contains deep feelings.”

One day earlier, the “I’ll Be Missing You” crooner posted a heartfelt note about his ex — who died from lobar pneumonia at age 47 in November 2018 — with the same picture on social media. “I remember Kim flying to see me on the set of ‘Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down,’” he wrote. “She took like a 12-hour flight to L.A. and three-hour ride to the desert. With no complaints. Was always ride or die. From day 1! I called her BONNIE AND I WAS CLYDE! This picture will go down in history as the first time I said she was MINE!!!!”

He continued, “AND THE FIRST TIME I TOLD HER I LOVE HER, little did I know I was hers. Miss you BONNIE and will forever. Maaaaan life is beautiful to have had these experiences. Love you, baby. @ladykp.”

The New York native dated Kim for 13 years before they split in 2007. They share three kids together — Christian, 21, and twin daughters Jessie James and D’Lila, 12.

The Canada native responded to the backlash and insisted that he didn’t know the meaning behind Diddy’s post. “@thats_so_raevyn13 you’re wrong. God knows my heart, I know them and their family. Don’t tell me I’m being disrespectful. I have all the respect for both of them,” he clapped back. “I didn’t realize it was a photo of him mourning KP, but I totally respect that, but I also respect how sick of a photo that is!”

He added, “It’s [OK] to appreciate art photographs are art, and he happens to be wearing an identical outfit of my clothing line, and I thought that was really cool.”

Can’t win ’em all, Biebs.
