A sign? Julianne Hough took to Instagram to share her “mantra for Taurus season,” which boasted a cryptic message about change amid drama in her marriage with husband Brooks Laich.

“I confidently leave the familiar for the unknown,” read one of the many mantras in the 31-year-old’s Monday, April 20, post. Additionally, other words of wisdom included were, “I can rely on myself in the face of challenge,” and “I am worthy of abundance in all forms.”

Her post is just another cryptic message Julianne shared since it was revealed she and her husband, Brooks, are quarantining apart during the coronavirus pandemic. The couple spent most of March together, but it seems like Brooks, 36, left the couple’s marital home L.A. in early April. On April 16, the blonde beauty was spotted out for a walk in the city with actor Ben Barnes.

While the Dancing With the Stars alum remains in L.A., Brooks has been getting in touch with his wild side as he practices social distancing in Idaho. The former professional athlete luckily has their dog, Koda, to keep him company. Despite being away from his wife, even on Easter, Brooks appears to be in high spirits as he posted several smiling photos embracing the great outdoors.

After the couple wed in 2017, they seemed to be going strong. In January, the duo started experiencing “marriage woes,” a source exclusively told In Touch at the time. Sadly, they have “matured into different people,” causing turbulence in their relationship.

“Brooks is still coming to terms with his hockey career being over,” the insider explained. “He’s working on finding himself. Being a sports player, with set goals, I think he struggled to understand Julianne’s free-spirited nature.”

Although they may have grown apart, “that doesn’t mean they still don’t love each other deeply,” the source reassured. While they may have strong feelings for one another, they simply, “want different things in life,” a source told Life & Style at the time. “They’ve had so many ups and downs, but they also have very different ways of dealing with them.”

As both partners are growing in their own way, they have struggled to communicate their changing desires. “Julianne is an open book,” the source revealed. “Brooks was OK with that in the beginning, but it’s gotten to be too much.”
