PDA Alert! Josiah Duggar Bonds With Lauren Swanson’s Family During Trip To North Carolina
Squad goals! Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson appeared to be having a blast while spending time with her family in North Carolina. The Counting On stars took to Instagram on Oct. 20 with several breathtaking photos from their trip to the mountains.
“Family 👨👩👧👦 + Fall🍂 + Mountains🏔 = Perfection👌🏼,” the snaps were captioned. The lovebirds were checking out the gorgeous views while hiking in Brevard, including the multicolored leaves and a beautiful waterfall. When fans started asking about their whereabouts in the comment section, the couple revealed this is one of their “favorite” places to go for some rest and relaxation. Josiah and Lauren were all smiles while posing with her loved ones and they even cozied up for another PDA-filled photo. Prior to their wedding, the couple was following strict touching rules, but not anymore!
Josiah, 22, and Lauren, 19, tied the knot at the John Brown University Cathedral Of The Ozarks in Siloam Springs, AR, on June 30. Her father, Dwain Swanson, officiated the ceremony so he was able to pronounce them husband and wife. “Seeing my dad for the first look, it’s hard to put into words just how sweet and special [it is],” Lauren said at the time. “Of all the years he has raised me up, and now… he wouldn’t sell me for a million dollars, but here he is, giving me away.” Dwain even broke down into tears when he saw his little girl looking stunning in her wedding gown.
Prior to their nuptials, Jessa Duggar also gushed over her new sister-in-law. “I remember thinking, this family is so sweet. Like genuinely kind, to the core. Lauren is very precious. We already think of her as one of the sisters,” she said. Shortly after their wedding and honeymoon, Josiah and Lauren followed in their family tradition of taking an RV trip together, so it looks like these two love a little adventure!
