He’s following in his big brother’s footsteps! Josiah Duggar has been working on getting his pilot’s license for a while now, and it seems like he’s got some good practice under his belt. On Monday, Jan. 7, the pilot took to the skies, and his wife, Lauren Swanson, joined him for the ride. On the couple’s Instagram page, they shared some photos of their adventure — Josiah with the plane, Lauren smiling wearing her headphones, and even a video from the cockpit. “Today was a great day to do some flying ✈️,” they shared.

Eagle-eyed fans also spotted family-friend Nathan Bates in the co-pilot’s seat, and his younger brother Lawson Bates confirmed the sighting. “I see the bro showing [you] how it’s done,” he commented on the photo with a silly-faced emoji. It looks to us like Josiah had a pretty good handle on things in his own right, though, and his sister-in-law Anna Duggar agreed. “Way to go, Si!” she responded to the clips and pics.

Other commenters were pretty intimidated by the flight. “That plane is too small!!!! You guys are brave!!!!” wrote one fan, with another adding, “That’s awesome but scary. Lauren looks a little worried.” Still, others wanted to know just how many of the Duggar boys are flying these days. John-David Duggar, of course, has his pilot license — and has even flown his family around the country — but who else? While answering a fan’s question, Josiah revealed that he actually already has his license, but that “Jeremiah is working on getting his” too.

It won’t be long until the family has a whole roster of their own pilots. And considering the fact that they also own a fleet of private airplanes, we imagine that they’ll be ready to start their own airline any day now. And hey, maybe one day Jessa Duggar‘s son Henry can join them at the controls. He already loves playing pilot, and by the time he’s big enough, he’ll have four uncles (including Austin Forsyth!) who can show him the ropes.
